Google may process data under its own policies. You can read more in Google's privacy policy and Google Analytics privacy disclosures. If we serve personalized Google ads to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Our current custom banner blocks optional scripts until consent, but a certified CMP is the stronger path for those regions.
Amazon may process data under its own policies when you interact with Amazon product links or Amazon-hosted product content. Product availability, images, and product details can change on Amazon. Product content from Amazon is provided as-is and may change or be removed at any time. We do not receive your Amazon account login, cart, or checkout details from Amazon.
Affiliate Disclosure
Working Nomads participates in the Amazon Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, Working Nomads earns from qualifying purchases. Buying-guide articles that include affiliate links should also include an in-article disclosure near the recommendations.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Sell or Share
Working Nomads does not sell personal information for money. Some U.S. privacy laws may treat personalized advertising or cross-context ad measurement as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. If you reject advertising cookies or send a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising and do not load Google AdSense.
AI Cover Letter Generator
When you use the AI cover letter generator, we process the job title, company name, key skills, selected tone, and generated output. We send that prompt to Google Gemini to generate the cover letter. We also use your IP address temporarily for rate limiting. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government IDs, financial account numbers, health information, immigration documents, or other sensitive personal information into the tool.
Private Job Tracker and Local Tools
The job tracker stores saved applications in your browser localStorage under wn_job_tracker_apps. That data stays on your device and is not sent to our server unless you separately copy it into another tool or browser feature. Clearing browser storage deletes it.
Service Providers and Third Parties
We use service providers to run the site and related content:
- Vercel or hosting infrastructure: hosting, logs, security, and performance.
- Supabase: database storage for job listings, companies, tags, salary ranges, and optional subscriptions if enabled.
- Sanity: blog and content management.
- Google Analytics: analytics only after consent.
- Google AdSense: advertising only after consent.
- Amazon Associates: affiliate product links, product images, and commission attribution for qualifying purchases.
- Google Gemini: AI cover letter generation when you submit the tool form.
Legal Bases for Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Similar Regions
- Consent: optional analytics, optional advertising, and AI tool inputs you choose to submit.
- Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, debugging, aggregate job market insights, and site operations.
- Contract or requested service: tools or pages you ask us to provide.
- Legal obligations: compliance, enforcement, and responding to lawful requests.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether legal thresholds apply, state privacy laws may give you rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. These rights may apply in California and in other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and others as laws take effect.
You can exercise cookie and targeted advertising choices through Privacy settings or through a Global Privacy Control browser signal. For data access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, or appeal requests, use the form below or contact us at build100k@gmail.com. We may need enough information to verify and process the request. Where a state privacy law applies, we aim to respond within the required legal timeframe, including no later than 45 days for covered Delaware resident requests.
If we deny a request and you appeal that decision, we will explain the result by email. Delaware residents may contact the Delaware Department of Justice at privacy@delaware.gov if an appeal is denied.
Submit a Privacy Request
You do not need to create an account to make a privacy request. Use this form or email build100k@gmail.com. We collect the information in the form only to verify, track, and respond to your request.
Retention
- Cookie consent choices remain in your browser until you clear them or update your choice.
- Private job tracker entries remain in your browser until you delete them or clear localStorage.
- Server logs and rate-limit data are kept only as long as needed for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
- Public job listing data may remain until jobs expire, are removed, or are refreshed by our cleanup processes.
- Analytics and advertising retention is controlled in part by Google's settings and policies.
Children
Working Nomads is intended for job seekers and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children.
International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws may differ by location, but we use service providers for the purposes described in this policy.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the size and nature of the service. No website, database, or transmission method is perfectly secure, so avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is necessary.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
