About the Role

Role Title: QA Engineer

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

We are expanding our expert network and looking for QA-specialized engineers to support high-volume engineering evaluation work. In this role, you will apply your testing expertise to review, evaluate, and improve the quality of technical outputs, drawing on both your QA fundamentals and your prior experience working with human data workflows.

Scope of Work

  1. Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios
  2. Perform manual and automated testing and document results with clear, reproducible steps
  3. Identify, log, and track bugs with structured reporting
  4. Evaluate and rate technical outputs against defined quality criteria and rubrics
  5. Provide detailed written feedback and annotations to improve output quality
  6. Collaborate with project teams to refine evaluation guidelines and testing standards

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Proven professional experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or similar role
  2. Strong grasp of QA fundamentals: test case design, bug tracking, regression testing, manual and automated testing
  3. Expertise in test case design, bug tracking systems, and test management tools.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Ability to communicate complex findings clearly through both written reports and verbal discussions.
  6. Proactive, self-motivated contributor with a commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
